For the inspiration, Nike looked to Boston Red Sox pitcher, Daisuke Matsuzaka. The Dragon emblem seen on the insole and heel is Red Sox pitcher’s number, 18. As for the look of the shoe, it features Pony hair as well as a Dragon like textured pattern.
