Luis Morais Jewelery

Although when it comes to the accessory game, David Yurman is and will be on the top of my list but its time for an alternative and Luis Morais is the perfect one to provide that alternative.

Luis Morais is a jewelery designer from Brazil, that decided to make pieces after unsuccessfully trying to find a bracelet he saw in a magazine.  When I look at his pieces, I see very powerful and spiritual pieces that are timeless. Classic yet edgy!! He has found a way to combine dark with light, leather and pearls, diamonds and skulls, etc.

Morais creations call for precious metals, stones and exotic materials from all around the globe - fragrant sandalwood, dark Brazilian ebony, Pacific pearls, diamonds, rare crocodilian and lizard skins, raw precious stones, gold, delicate porcelain and woven hemp - to name a few. The collection is in constant evolution, making it easy to mix and match pieces bought today to tomorrow's designs. You'll treat Morais jewelery like Lays, bet you can't cop just one. You'll become a collector quick. I should add that its not a cheap addiction to have.  Not to worry though you'll be in the company of rock stars like Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Madonna to name a few. 

2008 Victoria Secret's Fantasy Bra

If I'm with a jump off and she's rocking one of these, I won't be the only thing missing in the morning!! I can do a lot with 5 milli!! lol

The 2008 Victoria's Secret Fantasy Bra has been unveiled. The latest version modeled by Adriana Lima is named the Black Diamond Fantasy Miracle Bra. it was created by jeweler Martin Katz and is set with 3,575 black diamonds, 117 certified one carat white round diamonds and 34 rubies. Two black diamond drops weighing a total of 100 carats swing down from the bra. It is selling for $5 million.

The 2007 Fantasy Bra set includes a garter, barette, thong, bracelet and of course, the bra.

The 2006 Fantasy Bra modeled by Karolina Kurkova features a 10-carat diamond brooch centerpiece.

The Gerald Genta Arena QP GT has a titanium case with a platinum bezel. I really like the red and black contrasting color scheme and the use of four subdials. The subdials display the perpetual calendar and GMT functions. I do not have pricing info, but platinum currently costs over $2000 per ounce, so expect to pay a premium.





The ZeroPointZero concept handcuffs wristwatch is a very cool design. It looks more like a bracelet than a watch, but I bet women will really like that. Luis Beruman is the designer.

Who needs bling???

Zenith is rolling out their new El Primero Zero-G Multi-Dimensional Tourbillon at Baselworld 2008 in April. The luxorious all-black Zero-G is coated in a special PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) solution, which makes the timepiece impervious to the powers of gravity. The watch could theoretically work for astronauts who are walking the surface of the moon or repairing a space station. Somehow, we doubt NASA will be willing to shell out the $500,000 for this watch

Diamonds are forever

The yet to be named squash-ball sized, 101-carat diamond is the biggest white diamond to be auctioned in nearly two decades.

The gem that has been cut from a 460-carat South African rough stone is expected to fetch over US $6 million.
