Rapper Lil’ Wayne was arrested near Yuma, Arizona by law enforcement officials and members of the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) last night (January 22).
More details have surfaced in last nights arrest of Lil' Wayne outside of Yuma, Arizona.
105 grams of marijuana, 29 grams of cocaine and 41 grams of ecstasy pills were found on Wayne's tour bus after it was stopped at a Border Patrol checkpoint. Also found on the vehicle was $22,000 in cash and a 40-caliber pistol. Wayne does have a permit to carry a concealed weapon in the state of Florida, although it is unclear whether it carries over to Arizona.
Wayne's bond has been set at $10,000.
Lil’ Wayne, born Dwayne Carter, performed at the Tucson Convention center on Sunday (January 20) as part of the “The Tucson Takeover” concert.
