2011 Audi A8

For 2011 Audi has made some dope enhancements to the A8 such as, the car comes with full LED headlamps which can adjust direction and throw on the basis of the navigation system, a new MMI including handwriting recognition, an updated 4.2-liter FSI V8 engine with 372 horse power and an eight-speed Tiptronic gearbox. The A8 also have better fuel efficiency, with the company claiming 15 percent better fuel efficiency then the V8. Check inside for more pics and to learn about the dope upgrade to Audi's navigation system!!

Another dope feature is the 3D Navigation!! The sedan comes with an 8-inch LCD screen that shows you land marks in 3D, thanks to a collaboration with the Google Earth and terrain-mapping functionality. The new system will use a UMTS modem for transferring data to the navigation system for downloading the maps. The data is then used to make an online search through a multimedia interface through which a user can search for "Cabinet maker" which displays the results. The mounted computer then matches the street data with the Google Earth 3D terrain model and provides route guidance through the map. Talk about life-like real-time support!

Philips' 3D HDTV

If you thought 3D means wearing special glasses to watch the motion, then you need a serious update. Philips is out with a range of 3D HDTVs that don't require the special glasses at all and can be viewed with the naked eye. The Quad Full TVs relay data at such a fast rate that they increase a display's screen resolution to 3840x2160 (or 8.29 million pixels), four times the number of pixels of the highest HDTV standard. Both the factors, data speed and high resolution, are incidental to the performance of a 3D TV. The large collection of pixels produce images that are important to the optical illusion and the speed puts the images together instantly. This creates a large viewing angle (160 degrees) and a very high image contrast.

Philips promises up to 46 views at once, which means the resolution is 23 times better than others viewed before. Apparently this TV will cost approximately $25,000 and Philips has already penciled in a 56" version.

Macbook Touch is on its way!

Think MacBook screen, possibly a bit smaller, in glass with iPhone-like, but
fuller-featured Multi-Touch. Gesture library. Full Mac OS X. This is why they
bought P.A. Semi. Possibly with Immersion's haptic tech. Slot-loading
SuperDrive. Accelerometer. GPS. Pretty expensive to produce initially, but sold
at "low" price that will reduce margins. Apple wants to move these babies. And
move they will. This is some sick shit. App Store-compatible, able to run Mac
apps, too. By October at the latest. Source

A sneaker Vending Machine??

Japanese sports fashion brand Onitsuka Tiger created the worlds first sneaker vending machine. Keeping fresh sneaks have never been this easy and convenient!!

The trainer vending machine will be stationed just off Carnaby Street for three days only at the Onitsuka Tiger store between Monday 14th - Wednesday 16th April and all trainers from the vending machine will begiven away- so you don't need to put your hand in your pocket at all. After making a star appearance in London, the vending machine will then embark on a national tour throughout 2008, starting in Manchester.

I can't wait til other brands follow this lead because this will be a good look. Just put these joints in front of every nightclub lol

Follow your Instincts!!

CTIA Wireless 2008 kicked off in Vegas yesterday, and while this post-iPhone edition probably won't include any earth-shattering new stuff, it's off to a decent start with Samsung's just-unveiled Instinct. The phone uses an Apple-style virtual keypad, but works with Sprint's speedy EVDO network for full HTML browsing, GPS, and even live TV. It also includes corporate e-mail compatibility, which is due on the iPhone this June—a rare instance of Apple playing catch-up.

Altec Lansing T612 iPhone dock

Finally, an iPhone speaker dock that takes calls: Unlike other models, which require you to switch to “airplane mode" to avoid a hellish cacophony when your iPhone rings, the T612 works with your phone still functioning, smoothly fading out the music as your ringtone fades in.

It works by integrating an optical fiber system that display image between two glass parts. There are 12 micro lighter fibers, that throw image components to the glass, that offer a quite good luminosity, and keep the mobile phone concept as light as possible.
