Former New York Congresswoman Geraldine Ferraro has just stepped down from her position in the Clinton camapaign after making what some saw as racist comments about Barack Obama.
Here’s EXACTLY what Ferraro said to the Daily Breeze:
“If Obama was a white man, he would not be in this position. And if he was a woman, he would not be in this position. He happens to be very lucky to be who he is. And the country is caught up in the concept.”
Now Ferraro is telling CNN this is only happening because “she’s white…”
