DeLorean Music Group, Equinox Professionals, & Aplomb Clothing Present...Lyriciss - The Day Job (Mixed By Qaptain Kwess)
Washington, DC (Feb. 20, 2009) – Today marks a new day in the DC/MD/VA music scene. The DMV will be graced by the new mixtape by Lyriciss. It's titled "The Day Job" and has already received rave reviews. The 22 track power packed mixtape which is presented by DeLorean Music Group, Equinox Professionals, & Aplomb Clothing features production by David E. Beats, J.Scrilla, AB The Producer, Equinox Professionals and more. As far as the features, he is joined by RaTheMC, Pro'Verb, Theo, X.O., Cayan, Nando McFlyy, Mouse aka The Waldorf Poster Boy and more. When asked about his feelings on the mixtape that means a lot to him, Lyriciss says that "This is some of the most honest music you will hear in my career". In addition to Lyriciss' thoughts on his own craft, after listening to an advance copy of "The Day Job", Grammy nominated producer Kokayi stated that this was "Good work, a solid project".
In addition to releasing "The Day Job" on Tuesday, February 10, 2009 Lyriciss is now a part of the distinct group of URB's Next 1000. Lyriciss also has a campaign going on to be nominated for the DMV Entertainment Music Awards in the categories of "Best Male Artist" and "Most Likely to Succeed".
