Great Vision, See from NY to London

British artist Paul St George has recently created a telectroscope that connects New York and London together via a tunnel that allows people on either side to see each other in real-time. As he put it in his own words "Hardly anyone knows that a secret tunnel runs deep beneath the Atlantic Ocean." He stated, "In May 2008, more than a century after it was begun, the tunnel has finally been completed. An extraordinary optical device called a Telectroscope has been installed at both ends which miraculously allows people to see right through the Earth from London to New York and vice versa." The Teletroscope will remain at Fulton Ferry Landing in Brooklyn and an identical scope will sit on the other side at banks of the Thames in the shadow of Tower Bridge; this work of art is created by Artichoke, the same people that created "the Sultans' Elephant " that roamed the streets of London. I won't provide any spoilers here, but believe it or not, it makes for a very interesting reading nonetheless, and this work of art will surely be talked about for many years to come. For the first time in a Ferrari, there will be no manual gearbox option and power will be 30bhp down on the entry-level F430. Engine revs are lower and torque is slightly increased, all signs that this car is much more of a luxurious tourer than a hardcore sports car. "It's not a screamer," said a Ferrari spokesman this week. "It's not track-based and it's not about out-and-out power; it's more driveable." The naturally aspirated 4,300cc V8 will be matched to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission for a smoother drive. The 0-62mph sprint will take less than four seconds and carbon dioxide emissions will be about 310g/km. The Ferrari California is set to launch at the Paris Auto Show in October. More pics inside

Screen Gems, T.I. ink 'Deep' deal

Alot of people tried to count T.I. out due to his legal situation but he is showing us all that you can overcome any challenge you are faced with!! Get that money my dude!!

Screen Gems has made a three-picture deal with T.I. that will launch with the
crime drama "Bone Deep," in which the hip-hop star will join Matt Dillon and
Idris Elba.
The move amounts to a long-term investment in the rapper, who
faces a yearlong prison stretch for weapons possession that begins next spring.
The second Screen Gems film will be "Boulevard," a drama in development in which
T.I. will star; the third picture will be determined later.

Past acting
credits for T.I., whose real name is Tip Harris, include "American Gangster" and
"ATL."

The movie work will be scheduled around the legal complications
faced by Harris, who has also cut a deal to topline a six-episode MTV reality
show that will chronicle the 1,000 hours of community service he'll perform
before heading off to serve his sentence.

"Bone Deep" concerns a group
of bank robbers who pull off a daring highrise heist and are dragged into one
last job by a freshly paroled cohort. Pic will be helmed by John Luessenhop
("Lock Down"), who co-wrote the script with Gabriel Casseus, Avery Duff and
Peter Allen. T.I. and his Grand Hustle Entertainment partner Jason Geter have
joined Will Packer as producers.

The Making of The Empire Series

Lil Wayne isn’t a fan of his music being stolen. Making that sentiment insanely clear during an interview with Foundation Magazine, a publication catered directly to the mixtape culture, Weezy called out all mixtape DJ's for creating mixtapes that feature his material without his proper consent. In another interview with popular mixtape DJ, DJ Drama, Lil Wanye then retracts his statements and aims them directly at The Empire for unlawfully producing the popular mixtape series, The Drought Is Over. In this two part series, BET.com sat down with The Empire to find out exactly how they managed to put together a five part mixtape series without even meeting Lil Wayne, an encounter they have yet to experience till this very day. The Empire: Drought 1 came about from an actual Lil Wayne mixtape that I got from a promo guy at Cash Money. During that time, he was on tour with Jim Jones and they were handing out a double CD, but no one had it. The Drought Is Over Part 1 was a simple one.

The Empire: The Drought 2 was the big one. A kid started leaking records online and my man hit me telling me there’s this kid who has The Carter 3. Wayne was looking for someone to do mixtapes with, but he was on tour so he couldn’t do it himself. The kid was searching for people to do it with and basically asked me for money in advance for the cd, so I gave him an undisclosed amount of money and he sent me 12 records.

The new Audi A7 will set new standards for performance, elegance and quality in the fast-emerging luxury four-door coupe market, according to the German manufacturer.
