Nike SB Brazil Custom Series 3

The Brazilian division of Nike SB is set to release a series of three Nike SB Dunk Lows which pays homage to the musical portion of the skateboarding world. The designers of the series decided to travel back to the 80’s and 90’s to gather inspiration, because that was before the MP3 Player takeover when music was rooted to the streets. With that said, the designers chose the Sony Walkman, FITA K7 (Compact Cassette), and Headphones to best represent the three custom dunks. They all will release on Nov. 13th in select skate shops in Brazil and are limited to 480 pair each!!

Can we see a dope photoshoot with hot Brazilian chicks rocking these hot kicks?? Check inside for detailed look at all 3 along with matching tees.

Nike SB Dunk Low [Cezar Gordo] aka Headphones
This sneaker was inspired by the the old model of yellow and grey Sony Walkman Headphones and features clean designs of the Walkman Headphones on the side panels, back heel, and toebox with the graphics continuing on the transparent bottom soles.

Nike SB Dunk Low “Fabio Cristiano” aka Compact Cassette
This sneaker represents the compact cassette that was usually played in the Sony Walkman during the 80’s and 90’s and features a refreshing black and purple color scheme with cassette tape designs imprinted throughout the upper. There’s also a purple transparent Nike swoosh, a black nubuck toebox, and a midsole decorated with tags similar to the “A” and “B” labels found on cassette tapes, with written descriptions. An illustration showing the classic way of rewinding a tape with a pencil appears on the insoles.

Nike SB Dunk Low “Rodrigo Peterson” aka Sony Walkman
This sneaker represents the Sony Walkman Sports and features an interesting work of etched laser designs on brown leather with the symbols of the buttons for play, stop, fast forward and rewind imprinted on the toe-box, side panels, and the tongue. There’s also graphics of the Sony Walkman Sports on the insoles.
