Rick Ross finally admits his C.O. past

Self-proclaimed “boss”, Miami rapper Rick Ross has admitted he once held down a gig as a correctional officer. After being questioned numerous times, and adamantly denying it, many were still convinced otherwise. Well it turns out that those who DID think it was true…were right.

Ross sat down with a magazine recently and explained himself. He was shown a picture of the CO photo and was asked, point blank, if that was him or not.

“Yes. It’s me.” He also added, “I never tried to hide my past. I put my name inside my cds. My company has my SS#. I could’ve put a company name… I done been up and I done been down and that’s what makes me what I am. I never ratted on a nigga. I never prosecuted a nigga. I never locked up a nigga, that’s first and foremost. I always felt that me being the nigga that I am, I never owed a nigga an explanation… When I’m making my music and I’m talking about blow, it’s because I did it. When I say that I’m rich off cocaine, it’s because i did it. Those are the street principals that apply.

I am glad he finally owned up to it because the truth of the matter is nobody should care! You are a rapper and you are here to make good music and entertain. Rick Ross does just that! I don't know why people think that because you had a job or went to college then you not a real dude, hustler, thug, whatever!! There is nothing that states that you have to be an idiot to do so!! I am just disappointed that it took him this long to admit it! He says he's not ashamed of his past, yet he lied when proof was everywhere. Well anyway now you guys can leave this issue alone!

Philips' 3D HDTV

If you thought 3D means wearing special glasses to watch the motion, then you need a serious update. Philips is out with a range of 3D HDTVs that don't require the special glasses at all and can be viewed with the naked eye. The Quad Full TVs relay data at such a fast rate that they increase a display's screen resolution to 3840x2160 (or 8.29 million pixels), four times the number of pixels of the highest HDTV standard. Both the factors, data speed and high resolution, are incidental to the performance of a 3D TV. The large collection of pixels produce images that are important to the optical illusion and the speed puts the images together instantly. This creates a large viewing angle (160 degrees) and a very high image contrast.

Philips promises up to 46 views at once, which means the resolution is 23 times better than others viewed before. Apparently this TV will cost approximately $25,000 and Philips has already penciled in a 56" version.

4 door Lamborghini Estoque

Lamborghini has spent the last few weeks tantalizing us with teasers of its front-engine, four-door concept, but that comes to an early end today as a French website has unceremoniously revealed the concept we've been calling the Estoque. Though the images in our gallery are low-res, we can still make everything out. The Estoque features a long hood and short rear deck, with horizontal headlights up front and a pair of big Reventon-style air intakes in the front bumper. The fender vents behind the front wheels are tucked into the car's character line that flows back until it hits those wide rear haunches. Thanks to those teasers we had already figured out what the rear end would look like, and all those guesses were fairly spot on. The rumormills are telling us to expect the 560-hp V10 from the Gallardo LP 560-4 underhood, as well as all-wheel-drive. Though it's showing up as a concept at the Paris Motor Show tomorrow, the Estoque is said to be destined for production as early as 2010 to compete with the new crop of four-door coupes from Porsche (Panamera) and Aston Martin (Rapide).
