Lil Wayne & Bow Wow star in Hurricane Season
Just saw the trailer for Hurricane Season over on the homie Karen Civil's site and thought I'd share with you guys!
A year after Hurricane Katrina, Al Collins, a high school basketball coach in Marrero, Louisiana, assembles a team of players who had previously attended five different schools before the disaster and leads them on the path to the state championships. Move with Forest Whitaker, Lil Wayne and Bow Wow in a coming of age story of tragedy and triumph.
A little more background info? Bow Wow plays “Gary“, the point guard and one of the team’s star players while Wayne plays “Lamont” and the role of the antagonist who bets against his own school.

Microsoft Project Natal
Steven Spielberg helped introduce a new prototype camera yesterday that allows you to play the Xbox 360 with NO hands. The camera tracks your body’s movement and responds to commands, directions and a shift of emotion in voice without the need for a controller.
I guess Bill Gates was tired of Wii stealing all the shine! This joint looks dope!

Screen Gems, T.I. ink 'Deep' deal
Alot of people tried to count T.I. out due to his legal situation but he is showing us all that you can overcome any challenge you are faced with!! Get that money my dude!!Screen Gems has made a three-picture deal with T.I. that will launch with the
crime drama "Bone Deep," in which the hip-hop star will join Matt Dillon and
Idris Elba.
The move amounts to a long-term investment in the rapper, who
faces a yearlong prison stretch for weapons possession that begins next spring.
The second Screen Gems film will be "Boulevard," a drama in development in which
T.I. will star; the third picture will be determined later.
Past acting
credits for T.I., whose real name is Tip Harris, include "American Gangster" and
"ATL."
The movie work will be scheduled around the legal complications
faced by Harris, who has also cut a deal to topline a six-episode MTV reality
show that will chronicle the 1,000 hours of community service he'll perform
before heading off to serve his sentence.
"Bone Deep" concerns a group
of bank robbers who pull off a daring highrise heist and are dragged into one
last job by a freshly paroled cohort. Pic will be helmed by John Luessenhop
("Lock Down"), who co-wrote the script with Gabriel Casseus, Avery Duff and
Peter Allen. T.I. and his Grand Hustle Entertainment partner Jason Geter have
joined Will Packer as producers.

The Legend you know, The Story you don't!!
The name of former University of Maryland basketball superstar and Boston Celtics draft pick Len Bias still provokes powerful, and immediate responses, more than 20 years after his death, and now you can see the story for yourself. I wonder if Len Bias was still alive would we be standing in line for his shoes instead of Mike's?? Check out the website for the film here

LiL Kim explains the Remy Ma Beef
Lil Kim has been engaged in a small war of words with Remy Ma lately. But some wonder where this beef began. The Queen Bee was on Sirius with DJ Whoo Kid to discuss the origins of this beef and made sure to let it be known that she is still the woman who runs the rap game.
“Everybody that knows me knows that I don’t just come at nobody for no reason,” Kim began with a disclaimer of sorts and added that she shows love to women who step into this business. “It all started when I got the 5 mics (in The Source magazine), she all on the radio talking reckless ‘fuck that son, my shit hotter than hers.’ Come on ma! This is what I do. Biggie crowned me Queen Bee and you can’t take that from me.”
But it wasn’t just the one incident that incited Kim. “When I got locked up she was talking reckless again on the radio but when I got home she at my party,” she continued. “I brushed that off and let a lot of shit slide but enough is enough. That’s where it is. I ain’t even gonna dedicate anymore time to that.”
The interview found Kim making a mockery of her so-called competition
“That can’t even be competition because I’m a female, that’s a man.”
She went on to mention that men she’s around would rather have sexual relations with a transvestite over Remy.
“Everything she do got too much testosterone,” she jabbed.
In the meanwhile, Kim will have a role in the upcoming Sex in the City movie and is still working on her new album which is scheduled for a Spring release.
