This line of Rolex watches was treated with a special “Diamond Like Carbon” ultra-hard, military grade coating, which refines the metal alloys enhancing their strength and longevity. The DLC treatment is a secret process that is applied to the watches which enables a scratch resistive surface. The final result is a fine Rolex timepiece with a luxurious stealth-black finish. The Black Rolex DLC Special Edition watches are marked from ($6,000 to $8,000), which is pretty low end for watches of this caliber.
