Nike collabs w/ Maharam for Horsehair Collection

“With these $250 sneaks, Michael Maharam shot for what he calls “restrained opulence,” choosing a luxurious but underused fabric, horsehair. Nike calls horsehair “a renewable resource” because it’s clipped painlessly from the horse’s tail, but Maharam concedes that horsehair is not a practical replacement for everyday fabrics. “It grows slowly, is woven on arcane Victorian-era looms at a tedious pace, and costs a fortune,” he says.

I've been saying that I wanted to cop some all red kicks for a minute now! I didn't cop the Supra Skytops when they 1st dropped, or the Big Gulp SB's but my choices are opening up for the Spring 09. Now what will be added to the collection?? We've already seen the red Kanye LV's, the Clae Russells, or these Diet Butchers?? hmmm

Martin Louie the King Jr ain't forget the ladies

Kanye West aka Martin Louie the King Jr is going hard right now, showing off 1 of his 6 collabo's with Louis Vuitton daily. This is design #4 out of 6 and they're for the ladies. He said he wanted the perfect lux shoes for the women, stating that the ones that were already out were too busy and Vans weren't lux enough. So did he win with these?? Air Yeezy or Kanye West LV High Tops??

Okay so Kanye West is definitely making a strong statement in the sneaker game this year with two collaborations, 1 with Nike and 1 with Louis Vuitton. I personally like the low top LV's more than the highs because for some reason I am getting the Reebok feel from the high tops. lol But not to jump off topic, which is doper, Kanye's collabo with Nike or his collabo with LV. Let the games begin!!!

So I showed you guys the white pair of Kanye's collabo with Louis Vuitton but you ain't seen nothing yet!! More colors were revealed at the LV show and all I can say is pretty fucking dope!!! You can see Kanye's love of Jordans in everything he does!! This shoe is very clean. Premium leather with seude accents!! Look for these in June. Check inside for more pics!!

Kanye's Louis Vuitton Boat Sneaker

First of all, Kanye is the only person I can think of with 2 highly anticpated shoe releases this year. He's got the Nike Air Yeezy's that are so anticpated that dudes out here rocking fake joints already, and now we get a look at 1 of 6 shoe collabs he's doing with LV. I like the concept of the shoe because he took a boat shoe and gave it a little more of a streetwear feel by adding a sneaker sole and shoe laces. You already know the leather is top of the line. This is a nice clean shoe. I am interested to see what else comes from this collabo. I am sure so dope high tops are in the works.

Get your baby some swagger like you

There is no need to leave the lil one's out!! Louis Vuitton came through and took 2 of the hottest sneakers they've ever made and made them available for the kids!! If you can rock LV's so should the lil one!!
