You only get a few chances to meet someone who can really solve your problems. You need some money? You wanna start a business? That girl looks good across the room, now what will you say to her....
Well, no matter how the bread is sliced, we just dont have much time. A person who has influence, power and resources often struggles with having time. Dont ramble, get out what you want out of the meeting. The thing is, you have to articulate your passion for whatever it is that you want. What would you say? Are you ready RIGHT NOW? Do you even know what you want?
How about this, once you get what you want, what's next? One day you will have folks come before you asking for items and opportunities. OK, so will you be able to know if something is worth your time in 5 minutes? THAT'S THE QUESTION that has to be answered. Once you know the answer to that, you might get what you want out of life.
